The Graduate Programs in Medical Education Leadership were developed jointly by the College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of New England and the Office of Medical Education at Maine Medical Center in Portland. The programs lead to a Master of Science in Medical Education Leadership, a Graduate Certificate in Program Development in Academic Medicine, and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership Development in Academic Medicine.
The purpose of the graduate programs in medical education leadership is to prepare you to assume or enhance your educational leadership roles in a variety of medical and health care training programs. These programs are designed to provide you with advanced education in the areas of curriculum and instruction, leadership and administration, and educational research and evaluation with opportunities for immediate and on-going application to your unique professional environment.
These programs welcomes a wide array of learners.
